Auburn Police arrest woman for identity theft and theft of property

Auburn, Ala. - On June 12, 2024, Auburn Police arrested Jalyn Trenary Fuller, age 26, from Auburn, Alabama, on felony warrants charging her with identity theft and theft of property first degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a report involving a fraudulent check. On May 10, 2024, police met with a victim who reported a check was mailed to the intended recipient from a location in Auburn in January 2024. While in transit, the check was stolen, altered and deposited in a bank account associated with an unknown suspect.

Jalyn Trenary Fuller was developed as a suspect, and after further investigation, arrest warrants for identity theft and theft of property 1st degree were obtained. Fuller was located by police on June 12th, and she was arrested in obedience to the warrants.

Fuller was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on an $10,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
